If you want to cook a pizza on the rack, but hate cleaning your oven afterwards, put the pizza on the middle rack, and put a cookie sheet or some aluminum foil on the bottom rack to catch all the crumbs that fall. Then you can just ball up the foil and throw it away or wash the cookie rack.

If he's still shitting in his pants, he must take after his daddy. Precious!

Hey! I went to the dentist yesterday, too! And, maybe, Andrew is smart enough he will never have to learn to use the toilet and just shit in his pants and have others clean it up for him. What freedom. Just pee and shit in your pants and not have to stop what you are doing, but then when it becomes uncomfortable have someone clean you up, put a fresh diaper on and continue on your way! heeeee! What if we all just stopped using the toilet? How much more productive would we be? I think I've hit upon a new concept. What do you think?

I remember when you thought your child was behind, and never going to talk or walk -- remember that? I remember it only too well with my son. Now they are smarter than us! Wait a sec, that's not saying much is it. However, Andrew is just a doll:) You and Susie make darling kids.

The idea behind people saying "That's so good it'll make you slap yo mama!" comes from when mommy would take things you wanted away from you when you were little, such as cookies and the like. You know, you got in the cookie jar and your mom caught you, but the cookie was so good that you slapped her to keep her from taking it away from you. Yes Bob, I'm from Mississippi originally.

Your kid is still in diapers because you never told him, "Andrew, if you don't sit on the toilet like a big boy Daddy will break your legs."

What IS that blue thing in the upper left hand corner of the picture?!?

My guess: sock or flip-flop. On the other hand, though...that kid has personality. And with a father like you, ahem, I'd actually suggest starting to do something with that, those hyperactive kids seemed to be calmed a bit by having some sort of creative outlet besides finger painting and the occassional bat man costume. Again, I think it's a sock.

He's doing it because of the daycare people. Threaten their lives if they don't encourage him to use the potty more. And cloth diapers. They do wonders. Cloth with the rubber baby pants. He'll be so uncomfortable every time he shits his pants, he'll want to use the potty. Either that, or he'll strip in front of everyone. Either way, good luck!

"Slap your Momma": In this instance, would be that you'd want to slap her for trying to pass off that frozen cardboard stuff she was serving you all those years, as REAL PIZZA! Andrew is adorable.

I was the same way that Andrew was when I was a kid; they ended up skipping me through the first grade. It really helped me a lot; I was sort of a trouble kid because I was bored by the material.

Uhh, April? It's not the daycare teacher's job to potty train kids, it's up to the parents. The teachers can only follow what is done at home. The day care I worked at for 4 years, the kids couldn't move to the 3 year old room unless they were potty trained. Different states have different laws about that though. Here, a teacher cannot take a child to the bathroom alone, 2 staff people have to. Anyway, lots of three year olds pick up the name recognition of everyone in the class, why are the daycare people freaking out about it so much? The kids are SUPPOSED to learn stuff while they are there, it's a good thing! Yay for Andrew! :-)

Oh yeah - UB - do you have Aldi's down in 'Bama? They have some new kick ass gourmet frozen pizzas. I love the fire roasted veggie one. The Freschetta one is good too, but the Aldi ones are only $2.49 and they seriously kick major ass. They also have garlic chicken and Hawaiian.

Have to put in my two cents worth. Freschetta is good, I agree, but if they have it there, thry the UNO Deep Dish Pizza. It is excellant. A little pricey, but it's worth it. As far as Andrew goes, kids concentrat on one or two things at a time to get really good at. His are numbers and letters. Potty just isn't one of them. I wouldn't worry at three. But it wouldn't hurt to ask his pediatrician about it. Some kids hold it becasue it hurts to go and may need stool softeners. One of my grandbabies had that problem. As soon as it stopped hurting, she started using the pot.

My three year old is brilliant, too. He can throw together a 100 piece puzzle like nobody's business, knows his letters, draws elaborate pictures, etc, etc, etc. Still shits his pants, has no interest in changing that. Cloth diapers? HA! We went right to trainers and rubber pants (none of that Pull-ups shit, don't waste your $$$ on those) and put him on the potty every freakin' 10 mintues...nada, nothing, zip. He peed and pooped right in his pants, and it didn't bother him one little bit. At this point, as long as he's trained by age 6, I'll be happy. He might have a Bachelor's degree by then, too. =)

So while I was at the grocery store the other day I picked up one of those pizzas you were talking about for my husband, Thor. Only because you said they were tasty. And damned if you weren't right about those pizzas being tasty! I guess I'll have to start paying more attention to what you say from now on.

Don't worry about the pooping in the pants thing. My son peed on the potty by 3, but took til almost 4 to crap on it. He was afraid of it. He's adorable, by the way. And you are incredibly funny. I'm glad I found your site!

Wicked Donald Trump. Did you hear the bit on the news today that Donald thinks that all the girls on the Apprentice wanted him? Whoa.

Kids who still wet and poop past babyhood, put them into cloth diapers and rubber pants like a baby. No training pants, no disposables. They won't like it one bit! My son knows that all too well!
