It kind of surprises me that you've never seen CSI. Pretty good show. And SpongeBob? Hmm... maybe you should see just one episode: the one where SpongeBob meets Sandy, and he has to breathe air instead of water. Fun for the whole family. :)

I used to donate plasma too. Is it really considered donating, since they pay us for it? Anywho, I got a cold one time, waiting for it to pass, but guess what? My cold antibodies triggered a positive response to the preliminary HIV screening, and even though the complete HIV screeing was negative, I was put on a national deferral list and can't ever donate blood or plasma ever again. :-(

This reminds me, I need to finish my list. I'm afraid to ride a ferris wheel too, yet I can ride roller coasters. Must me all the safety gear to keep from flinging me out at 150 MPH. Do you vacuum in the nude? Cuz that's just too sexy for words. Housework and nekkid buns? Oh yeah!

Squeakster - 2004-09-27 10:31:44
I cried watching Kill Bill also but probably not for the same reason as you.

Oregano is not a spice. It's an herb. Yes, there's a difference. Because I know you care.

Should I feel guilty because I didn't want to know anyway, and skipped through the list to get here? *ponders* I should feel guilty for saying that I did this.

Laura - 2004-09-27 12:03:37
I hope Susie laughed at you and told you to get back to washin' those dishes.

i like your list! it was actually entertaining. some lists i can't ever get through. i also liked how you wrote you get melancholy once christmas morning is over because i thought i was weird and the only one who did :P :)

Kelly2 - 2004-09-27 14:05:28
I think I have solved the whole melancholy after Christmas morning deal. Cuz we don't get melancholy after Thanksgiving....why, you ask? Because we gorge ourselves on leftover turkey for weeks afterward. Till we don't want to see another turkey for a year. Maybe if we gorge ourselves on presents under a tree, we will get so sick of it that we will be glad it's over...no?

There are several points in both volumes of Kill Bill that get me. In volume two (and I will try not to spoil any people that haven't seen the movie) the part where she's all "Alright, Pai Mei. Here I come." and then also the way the entire final chapter goes - from the time she walks out to the patio (in the beginning of the final chapter) to the end of the movie.

Have been reading your blog for a few weeks now and find it very interesting and funny. I have been able to kill quite a few hours at work and for that my friend, I want to thank you.

Oh! Wacky Packages!! I still have a whole stack of those. They definitely need to make more. Why not? They're doing it with Garbage Pail Kids. And I hope things are good with the wife.

I fell asleep when I saw "Star Wars". Hee. I totally agree about "Pulp Fiction" - I couldn't follow the TV version at all. And, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who loves some wild rhubarb.

Yeah! I can't understand why anyone wouldn't re-elect Bush, either! What's up with that? ;)

Hey! #92, I did that too! Was your mom not moving fast enough, either?

I'm with you 100% on the whole voting for Dubya thing. Just wanted to offer some support. And Ferris Wheels scare the crap out of me too. Probably because I always managed to ride them with someone who would insist on rocking the car. Freaks me right out.

Damn you for sharing that Speed Marbles link!! I'm getting carpal tunnel syndrome here. CAN. NOT. STOP.

Ok, so, i'm a random finder of your diary, and it rocks, I'm just wondering what part of Kill Bill vol. 2 would make you cry at Quentins splendifourous masterpiece???

You should get yourself that leather jacket. Now. Life is too short . You deserve it, and God probably wants you to have one. I have been reading your blog, in reverse order, and I have laughed a lot, thank you UB.x

I'm with you on the Ferris Wheels, and, oddly, the Wacky Packages. But the only time I went to give blood, I chickened out. A friend shamed me into going and was on the table getting drained and telling me how little it hurt when he died. No kidding. Gone. The nurses swarmed all over him and got him started back up again and he never felt a thing, but I left and never looked back.
