That was supposed to be a *sigh* but I forgot that if you put a greater than or less than sign in, everything dissappears. So...I repeat...*sigh*.

Yes, my 4-year-old daughter also love to chant "No mo' late fees!" in piercing screeches for hours on end. I now understand the secret to a good mob ... a catchy slogan.

Laura - 2005-01-07 10:18:26
I fear it may be even worse than Satanism...I believe Laura B may be Hook 'em Horns-ing.

Go Horns!!!!

TD - 2005-01-07 10:29:49

Oh. My. God. They're UT fans. You don't know how devastating that will be to my husband, being that he's a Sooner fan. This might hurt him more than the national championship loss.

Andy - 2005-01-07 12:23:14
Well, I know for a fact, it's NOT the official Republican salute. For that, we proudly extend our middle finger.

Kitty - 2005-01-07 12:30:03
lol good one TD! People need to stop talking their shit about the president & just deal with the fact that he won. Talking shit won't get you anywhere...*cough*Kerry...

well wasnt the world supposed to start to end when babylon falls again? and isnt that in the area where iraq is? and isnt that where bush wanted our war to be?

Sarah - 2005-01-07 15:02:23
You may be in error here. I believe Laura is in fact giving a more giving a much funnier sign. Check the picture again. It looks as if she is displaying THREE fingers, holding down her index finger. This, if I remember my college sexual arcana, is the sign for "two in the bush and one in the tush." I might be wrong here....

Andy - 2005-01-07 15:02:42
No Betty, It's not photoshoped. This photo made the rounds on the internet a few days ago. It was quite the topic on Fark. Either Laura is doing ASL for Love (thumb doesn't look properly extended, though), or I belive it's sign for a texas sports team (Longhorns?).

Baffled - 2005-01-07 15:11:43
You MUST be kidding me!! I realize it was somewhat tongue in cheek, but none the less.....GET OVER YOURSELF. Heaven forbid a President have Christian values. He's the farthest thing from Satan, as that would be Bill Clinton. Why can't everyone stop their whining and snivelling and just work to support the leadership we have. If we worked together half as much as we whine and bitch and divide ourselves we would be SO much better off as a country!

Dawn (webmiztris) - 2005-01-07 15:40:40
lol sarah!! Around here it's called "Two in the Pink - One in the Stink"!

Jennifer - 2005-01-07 16:37:23
Kitty, I guess you would blindly follow anyone who "leads" this country? Bush supporters are either mis-informed or uninformed about what is happening in the world.

ScottyP - 2005-01-07 17:04:32
I love when kids misinterpret common phrases, to the befuddlement of adults. Ever hear how preschoolers interpret the Pledge of Allegiance?

Baffled, dude, Uncle Bob is an ordained minister (unless I'm confusing him with somebody else. I know he at least goes to church.) I highly doubt he carries the opinion that OMG BUSH = EVIIIL FUNDIE. also, heaven forbid a blogger have political values.

First of all, I am going to copy your Andrew story into my diary. Don't worry, I'll give ya the credit. Second, Though I am not a Bush fan, I do Believe that Laura may be giving the universal sign for "I love you". It is the I, the L and the Y all held up at the same time. I used to have a friend with a deaf daughter and she used it all the time. Then again, maybe not.

schmuck - 2005-01-07 22:39:36
U.K., Uncle Bob is indeed an ordained minister, I remember the entry. And so am I, and you can be one too if you go to a website and type in your name and print out your certificate ...

Bill F. - 2005-01-08 01:31:02
Jennifer... or neither of those two. I guess that its so easy for you to just put the votes of 55 million people as being uninformed or misinformed. YOu forget the other possiblities. Like they decided that he was the best choice for the job. It was not an easy decision for me. I am not a fan of a lot of his policies. If the Democrats had done something as simple as nominating another man, say, his vice presidential candidate for example we'd be talking about President Edwards right now. A LOT of Bush voters had serious well grounded misgivings about Senator Kerry. Option 3 didn't seem to be available again this election.

Also note how on her left how, the index finger is pointing down. Hmmmm....If you ever get close enough look for the mark of the beast.

Of all the amusement park rides, I like UB's comments section the best! I tell you it should be published on its own with no reference to the original entry. Wheee!

You guys are all freaks. It's hook 'em horns, that's all. It's not ASL for I love you, her thumb is not extended. Fuck all the politics here, let's just all be thankful we haven't been washed away by a giant tsunami. Yet. Muslim-fucks are still out there though, so anything can yet happen.

Don - 2005-01-09 22:00:09
Hook em horns! Although Laura is an SMU grad, she probably has a soft spot for the LONGHORNS!

stella - 2005-01-09 22:44:41
Ha, it's definitely the shocker. One of the sororities around here does that for their little signal. Didn't one of the Bush twins go to Texas?

craig - 2005-01-09 23:35:38
I believe that Rregardleess of George W's affiliation, Blockbuster is the REAL source of EVIL.lol. I should hitchhike to Greece. Ps; I am from Canada and believe that George Bush is at least a better choice than would be Paul Martin or Steven Harper.(The government leader and opposition respectively)

The Longhorns ARE the devil... so I guess you get to be right this time.
