I got up at the creack of ass this morning just so so that I could yell "First!" like a giddy teenager. FIRST!!!

I hesitate to say this, but I missed the Grammys because I was at a Toby Keith / Ted Nugent concert. I am conflicted about being there, because while I like Mr. Keith's voice and some of his lyrics are wildly entertaining, some of his stuff is just too redneck for words...but, the kids wanted to see him, so we did. Did I miss anything on the Grammys?

I think the Grammys were boring! What was the big deal of J-Lo singing with her hubby? Good thing Marc-Anthony could sing because she couldn't! Except for the opening number, the rest of the show was pretty flat...but of course, it's just my opinion :o)

And what the hell is a creack? Damn crack of ass typo!

Bob, I work for the Goverment in middle management and I think Martin shows several qualities that are crucial for success in the Goverment sector. I'll like to sponser him for a manamgment trainee postions we have. It only pays $86000, but the benfits are decent, and he will have summers off. Please forward his resume.

Bob, while i respect your remark on Joss Stone, i have just gotta point out she is so much better that Debbie Gibson! Joss won the best female at the Brits this year (for those that don't know its the british version of the Grammys) and she rocks! She did a duet with Robbie williams of the best song of the last 25 years (Robbies Song Angels) and HOLY MOLEY she was good! She was nervous and nearly lost her lunch you could tell but not many 17 year olds can say they have sang with Robbie williams.. OK i am more than aware that none of you probably have any idea what i'm on about but i felt compelled to tell you! Hugs L xxx

I have to agree, I worship the song ground that Joss Stone walks on. Of course, she's the only new chick that sings in my key... so... yeah. ...lol. Anyway, Creak is what happens, dear Lauren, when you get up at the ass crack of dawn to post first on Uncle Bob's diary. And damn it, UB, I would have been first if YOU had posted your entry earlier. Like, 7:30 this morning. :P

As for J-lo, I think that she should, come on stage turn around and sing her songs with her ass facing the audience. People like that, she'd get a standing ovation...

...well at least from the ass-men in the audience.

best song ever. - 2005-02-14 11:25:41
Gonna find my baby, gonna hold her tight. gonna grab some afternoon delight. My motto's always been; when it's right, it's right. Why wait until the middle of a cold dark night. When everything's a little clearer in the light of day. And you know the night is always gonna be there any way. Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight. Afternoon delight. Thinkin' of you's workin' up my appetite looking forward to a little afternoon delight. Rubbin' sticks and stones together makes the sparks ingite and the thought of rubbin' you is getting so exciting. Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight. Afternoon delight. Started out this morning feeling so polite. I always though a fish could not be caught who wouldn't bite. But you've got some bait a waitin' and I think I might try nibbling a little afternoon delight. Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight. Afternoon delight. Please be waiting for me baby when I come around. We could make a lot of lovin' 'for the sun goes down. Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight. Afternoon delight.

I must say I am a tad bit disappointed you are living the piss job behind as it made for very funny reads and this new whack job you are training keeps me laughing all day. I'm so glad you're going back to your ultimate job but I'm going to be selfish here and say I wish you'd stay!! The infamous episodes of "Piss Boy" have been some classics. Thanks and now go your new job for YOU and not for me bastard! *LOL*

Damnit, it's "Mr. Hat", not "Mr. Hand"... and for a couple season it was "Mr. Twig". But never "Mr. Hand"! Oh, and incidentally the "poontang" bit was before Mr. Garrison copped to his gayness. Now he's quite openly gay.

the first step is admitting youre gay Darius. You know too much not to be.

C'mon - the J-Lo thing was comedy GOLD. They staged the set on two levels just to make poor lil' Mark look taller than her. They made them sing at each other from different levels (and far apart) for most of it, and then, at the end when they were singing in each others faces, he was standing on a step just to be eye-level with her. AND her dress made her look like she had a spare tire hanging out over the beaded portion. I laughed for five solid minutes!

There is clearly only one good and just punishment for New Piss Boy: make him drink piss. Actually, let the nurses he keeps calling "honey" force it on him.

so who won best new artist. Lisa - i love Robbie Williams. Green Day was great. And actually Joss Stone and Melissa Ethridge doing Joplin was amazing. Melissa hit the notes like nobody else besides Janis could have. And she looked good.

How sad that UB is now my official connection to the world of pop culture, due to lack of any other volunteers. Wow...pathetic. I mean, no offense UB, but.... I'm a teenaged girl. I should be at least somewhat in the loop, but nope. Jazz, baby! Woot! I'm so cool!

All I could think of when watching j' (my career is nearly over)Lo and Marc-Anthony singing was a SNL take off of a cheesy telethon on Telemundo, as in, Dear Set Director: Where was the velvet painting of the Spanish bull fighters anyways? Gah.

Best new artist - Maroon 5. Does JLo really find Marc Anthony attractive? I heard she wants children. I wonder what will happen if they turn out like him?
