They say if you have insomnia, you should get up and not lay in bed in a panic about not sleeping. I usually move to the couch and turn on the TV. Works every time. I am asleep in minutes. (I have never commented on your blog before, but just wanted to steal this spot and piss off all the people who entertain themselves by being first!) Congrats on the new/old job and the free pizza!

Taking a cue from Maria.....SECOND! haha so there all you first and second posting lovers. I, too, laid awake pondering the fact that I couldnt sleep last night. Usually the eyes close about 15min before the alarm goes off and I feel worse. I say just get up and go with it.

I've got a better new word for you: "fantasticular".

I hope, for your sake, that your boss doesn't enter into a trade-out with the local gay porn producer.

How about: "Words cannot describe how I feel about coming back to the paper. Period." Then add a nice little photo of you with a wary smile like you're not sure what that sudden wet/slimy sensation in your underwear is.

trade-outs...that's one thing i love about working for the newspaper! and to rip off Will Ferrell, how about "scrumtrelescent"?

I would advise against using a word like alright, since it's not a word and all.;)

I like Kathy's word "fantasticular" but it sounds too much like "testicular" to be used to describe a feeling safely. Unless of course you DO feel testicular, in which case go for it. I'm not really sure how it would feel to be a testicle, though. Round, hairy, and kinda warm?

Oh UB I love the picture idea that someone else posted. I would pee myself laughing, although it could be cause I read this everyday. And I think I have a little biddy crush on mattie gee (providing it's the same one you've talked about at length) and I see that he's also posted today, hmmm

I hate to be the one to notice it, but... I don't recall UB having any insomniac nights when he was slingin' piss, jamming his car CD's and playing pranks on oncoming motorists all day. As HRT would say, "I'm not saying, I'm just saying" (or something like that!)

Sarah - 2005-02-25 16:42:10
HRT is a freak... but I'm not saying, I'm just saying.
