Who says that spouting in cyberspace doesn't make a difference? Now go buy a Toyota!

I drive a 1991 Toyota Corolla. It's a pile of working parts held together by safety pins and little love. I had to drive more than three hours from my home last week, however, so I rented a car. It was a Dodge Neon. It felt like I was driving a goddamned Saab (or Cadillac or whatever the latest trendy luxury vehicle is--I don't keep track of those things). The point is. It's all perspective. Now go buy a Honda.

Neon's are really small. They are cute, but not if you plan on transporting anything. *shrug* I would have still gone for the minivan. :)

Fourth... and you didn't ASK if we were mechanics.... although we all did sleep in a Holiday Inn Express last night (with your abandoned Korean "interns"). Some of us have mechanic experience... so thee, and Neons are still shiite. Good luck w/ the Hyundai, hope it's a Santa Fe, we love ours.

Hey, I thought hyundais were bad cars (i'm soooo not a mechanic), I don't have a lot of room to talk, my Mazda 626 '86 has 308K miles on it...I have a wonderful uncle to do all the work on it but, its been chugging along. I still get 31 miles to the gallon, which is good with gas at $2.65...oh yeah i love bending over and just taking it.

So glad you didn't buy a neon. I'm proud that my email helped. You'd be kicking yourself eventually if you bought the neon. I still curse them every time I see one on the road. Hope you like whatever it is you bought.

A good friend of mine recently just had his Neon taken out back and shot. Everyone I know who has owned a Neon has eventually lived to rue the day that they bought the damned thing.

That is everyone except for the poor couple who died in a fiery blaze of glory after skidding off a slightly rain slicked highway. I don't think that they had time to rue the day.

...but it's possible.

My mother-in-law has a Dodge and I think it sucks, although I haven't heard her complain about it. I hate the way the windows don't have a metal edge on it, you can push them down so easily and break into them. Someone broke into hers once and damaged the ignition area, but then again, she lives in a shitty area of town. It looks and feels like it will crumple like a coke can once you're in it!
