One of our close friends had over 50 family members living there. All safe and accounted for, thankfully, although without homes or jobs now.

Okay, people. WE. DO. NOT. CARE. WHERE. YOU. ARE. IN. THE. SEQUENCE. Also, yes, it sucks to lose everything in a hurricane -- but does she have her health? Does she have her family, the potential to find another job? Well, then, okay. The stuff will eventually pile up. It's not like you can take it with you anyway. Okay, yeah, it blows to have to get a new birth certificate, driver's license, social security card, blah blah blah -- but at least she is ALIVE in order to GET THEM.

Bobber, I'd say your best bet is to offer that ex gf of yours refuge in your home, then when she shows up you can begin giving her Thor's love hammer all over again... when the wife is gone, of course. Signed, Mr. Insensitive

Meany - 2005-09-12 13:02:05
"Sweet sweet pounding of my love hammer" sounds like a line in a terrible R&B ballad, possibly one used in low-budget porn. Which makes it one of those phrases which I will remember forever.

Wow, I'm so sorry to hear about your cousin's daughter. That sucks! (that's an understatement) I'm glad she's "ok" though. It's funny you said that about your son and watching movies. My daughter is 3, and she has been watching Shrek since she was 1. EVERY DAY for a good year. Her other movie is Nemo. She's only just starting to watch Little Mermaid and stuff, even though I tried to get her to watch it a long time ago. No go. (One time she was laying on her beanbag at like 6 mos old, and Total Recall came on tv. She was staring at Aaaahnold. I changed it to Little Mermaid and she started crying. As soon as I turned Arnold back on, she stopped.)

You could sign up for one of those cults that encourages polygamy, and invite your old sweetheart to move in with you, Susie and Andrew. Once you've checked that she's not, you know, let herself go or nuthin'. ;D

Hey Bob. Where'd you get this love hammer you were talking about? Is it a mail-order deal? Your love hammer sure sounds sweet.

The Boy - 2005-09-12 14:23:54

I know this guy who can do perfect Donald Duck impressions. There's nothing quite like having a loveable cartoon character from your childhood tell you to show him your knockers.

Twenty Fifth!!! And for anyone who complained about posting your "number" or position in the comments section, I have two questions. 1: Who delegated you as comments moderator? 2: What makes you think that anyone takes these comments seriously?

Sorry about it hitting closer to home, but you know, I am sure the Tsunami victims families felt the same way, and probably you have heard the saying, another mans shoes or now the shoes on the other foot? Yep, that would describe this situation now wouldn't it? Show pics of the sun worshipers, that picture did not illustrate that and you didn't intend it to, hence the reason you didn't "explain yourself" then. If you don't give a rats ass, why explain now?
-------------------------------
Anon - 2005-09-14 09:15:40
WTMF, if you really want to see how the Tsunami victims families felt, why don't you go find a blog written by one of them. Uncle Bob wasn't affected by the tsunami and was by Katrina. That's his prerogative. Who are we to force a man which natural disaster he should grieve for. Seriously, those of you who are still giving him shit for what he writes need to step back and realize just what the hell you're writing. It's his blog and he can write whatever he wants and none of us have the rights to dictate what he should write and/or feel. Get a life people.

Squeakzilla - 2005-09-14 09:58:50
Historically, Tsunamis total death-toll comes in second to Hurricanes, Cyclones, Storm Surges and Floods. Don't get me wrong, any natural disaster is bad, but let's examine the statistics (click my name and become informed). If I were UB I would censor any Tsunami comments including this one.

If i was uncle bob, oh wait. I'm not. And I never will be. So i cant really speculate on anything he feels. And I wont try to.
