Happy Birthday To Me...

Lazy day today ...

Went to the office today (I'm a columnist for a weekly newspaper) for about 15 minutes and downloaded some columns to my paper's website.

Then I hooked up with my man Mattie Gee and we hung out all day. We went to the music store where he got a new Fender bass in. He's played guitar in a local band here for years, and the bass player wants to leave the band, so Matt's gonna take up the bass while another guitarist handles the guitar licks.

Stopped by Wherehouse Music and bought myself a couple o' b-day CDs ... Moby's "Play" and a used copy of South Park's Chef Aid. I've really been on a South Park kick lately ... started with buying the "Mr. Hankey Christmas Album" last month and laughing my ass off. Then I got the movie on PPV and laughed my ass off. Then I started watching the show again after not really paying attention to it for the last few years...

...and guess what??

Damned skippy, Rodney Allen Rippy. I laughed my ass off.

Haven't really listened to either disc yet. Sorry I can't supply a review.

Then again...I never promised yer ass anything.

Went back to Mattie Gee's ... watched him play "Gran Turismo 2" on PlayStation ... came home and took a nap (I'm 38 now ... bite my ass, I need my nap) ... whipped up some mean chicken parmesan for the wife and I ... cleaned the kitchen up ... she passed out on the couch (she's 35...she needs her naps, g-dammit)...and since "Who Wants To Blow A Millionaire" isn't on tonite ... I thought I'd check in here.
