How about sunless tanning cream? Just make sure to mix it will face cream first so it doesn't get streaky

I recently asked about changing my hair style as the power alleys keep growing and my options become more and more limited each year. Another stylist said I could shave it, but I look fat enough with hair. While my hair (or what little there is) is not my best feature, it certainly is in the top 5. One upside....I get charged the child's cut prices.

I kept my head shaved for nearly all of 2000 and part of 2001. I enjoyed the low-maintenance aspect of it, but everyone complained that they missed my "curly red hair". The last straw was when my sister admitted that she didn't like it, because when I shaved my head, it was pale white, my face was red, and I looked like a zit. Just think how cool it would be if I could pop a zit that huge! WHEE!

When I see a guy with a freshly shaved head, I immediately think he is balding and shaved his head so people don't realize it. Silly male egos!!!!

Uncle B...I'm going to let you in on a secret my landlord Jim shares (cuz he's going bald and shaves his head to be prepared). You are going to get so many women who will want to rub your head.

Call it for luck, call it for curiosity's sake, or whatever, but you just wait. "Can I feel?" Is going to come out of a lot of girl's mouths. Especially drunk ones.

Just remember they're talking about your scalp. *winks*

I have shaved my head on several occasions. Generally, I get fed up with the five minutes it takes to style it. Once you get a bit of sun, it's not so bad. The sunless lotions are a good idea, but I just headed out in the sun. Of course, I did mine back in February, when it WASN'T raining everyday. So, that might have helped.

At second glance, I'm finding it ironic that the DHAK logo for you is a head of hair.

Personally, I think white guys have a hard time pulling off the shaved look. But some african american guys have a hard time too...my husband is black, and the first time he shaved his head it looked like a pea-green egg. Luckily, we were headed off to Jamaica and his head tanned up pretty quickly. Then it looked like a brown egg. Please for the love of God, grow your hair back or you will be mistaken for a Nazi racist, or an egg...not sure which is worse!

hehehe, I shaved my head once about 8 or 9 years ago, no particular reason, I'm not balding or anything, I've got thick brown hair even now in my late 40's with just a touch of gray at the temples. Anyway, it definitely freaked out everyone I knew, but it was kind of cool, but I wouldn't do it again. The best part though is as it grows back, it's kind of stiff and bristly for the first couple of weeks, after about a month it's about an inch long and looks like a military style cut, before you know it, it will be over your ears and in your eyes, at least for me it was... summertime is the time to do it, you'll be a lot cooler and you'll be in and out of the shower now in 5 minutes and your shampoo bill will go waaaaaaaaay down. Of course, knowing Unca Bob, tommorow's post will go something like, "Bwahahahahahaha!!!!.....suckers!!! you didn't think I'd really shave my head did you?"

i kept my head shaved for years. about 3 years. of course it was all for punk-rock. people sure look at you funny when you are a female with a shaved head. the last time i shaved it was when i was working at toweer records. i had a little empire records thing going on where i kept disappearing in the bathroom and coming out with less hair everytime. but now its all grown out and long and beautiful and i hate it cuz its a pain in the butt. i tie it up on top of my head and only take it down to wash it or if tommy wants some sweet lovin. ok, too much information, man. im outtie! love ya ub.
