Aw UB you ARE the best daddy in the world! Not sure what happened with the shoes tho, I usually duct tape my kids' shoes to their feet so that isn't a problem for me.

GoP - 2004-10-07 08:18:50
Flat feet. They haven't developed their arches yet.

I agree with Warcry. Way to go, Dad.

My kids' feet actually repel shoes. Sometimes they take them off themselves and throw them at me while I'm driving. Good times.

Kids are supposed to wear shoes?!

Just give it a couple of years UB and you won't be able to get the little hellions OUT of the fire truck. That's when you'll really lose your shit!

Aw, who's a good daddy? You are! I have a very early memory of being three and somebody saying something about my address, and wondering "What dress? Why would my house have a dress?"

I work at a preschool, and our kids are CONSTANTLY losing their shoes. They just fall right off, even the ones that take an hour to get on because they're so tight. It's ridiculous.

Hey Uncle Bob. I am slowly rereading all your entries from the ground up and just reread the entry about Timmy Funknugget and it sounds a hella of a lot like Jimmy Neutron. So you should sue that guys ass.

UB, you are a good daddy. Even cooler then mine, go you! By the way, your diary gets me through my boring computer class. Which makes you even cooler.

Of course you were the only parent to show up. Most parents dump their kids off at preschool so they don't have to take care of them. You, however, take interest in your child. Which shall one day make your son either become a world leader, or he'll just hate you for being around too much. They grow out of that hate thing, or so I'm told.

They pop their shoes off to make you crazy.. it's purposeful. My daugter spent most of yesterday afternoon playing in the yard with one shoe on. When I came at her with the 2nd shoe you would have thought I was coming after her with an axe.. The terror of 2 shoes!!

Well no one wants to be a goody TWO shoes. And UB is a better dad than mine. He leaves his kid home all alone while he spends two-three months in Prague. It's not as bad as when I didn't have a car or credit card to buy food with though, so I'll give him that. I won't give him paying the bills because his home businesses are both administrated by yours truly and both require my writing skills... and I am the one who actually deals with the physical bills because he is not here... Enough of the tyrade, way to go UB!

I just read over that... jebus. Ambiguous pronouns anyone? I suppose I should have included the proper antecedants but I guess no one here is important enough for those *shrug*.

when you figure out how kids shoes just pop off all the damn time, please let me know. I'm about ready to resort to duct tape on the shoes of the kids in my class. My shoes tend to stay tied all day, why the kids can't is a mystery to me!

Let's see...UB volunteers to help out at his kid's school and then this is released today: WASHINGTON (Oct. 7) - Federal law enforcement authorities notified six school districts in five states last month that a CD found by the U.S. military in Iraq contained crisis-planning information about their schools, two U.S. officials said Thursday. Coincidence? hmmmm

Jen - 2004-10-08 01:40:34
UB did you really use the word 'gorgeous' to describe a piece of furniture?? Twice??!! You know they are trying to put together a team for the Australian version (!) of Queer Eye - I'll send off your resume shall I? Hey you might not like fucking guys but you got the jargon down.

Holley - 2004-10-08 10:30:08
I work for 911 and I'm also a FireFighter/EMT....most of the guys don't know how to deal with 3 yr olds and tend to be a little on the stupid side. Your right about knowing the 911 thing, wait a couple years and then teach him about it. I can't even tell you how many calls I have dealt with for kids that are just calling for shits and giggles.

mellie - 2004-10-08 11:41:01
i just busted out laughing reading that in class.....now im getting all those 'what the hell is wrong with you' looks.....thanks UB for making my day
