UB have you heard The Blind Boys of Alabama's version of Amazing Grace? It's done to the tune of House of the Rising Sun and it.is.awesome!!! My husband sang that version at my Father's funeral while my brother played my Daddy's guitar. It blew me away!!!

UB if you love Amazing Grace and don't already have this version, you should get the one by Jerry Garcia. It comes with a great book, too. It is actually in the book section at Borders.

First listen to House of the Rising Sun by the Animals (1960's) then listen to Amazing Grace by the Blind Boys from Alabama. Great rendition of Amazing Grace sung to the tune of House of the Rising Sun.

Hey Bob. Thanks for the link. Much appreciated.

I love me some Public Enemy, although it was very sad to see Flav pouring his heart out to that scary Brigitte Nielson. (I don't know if I spelled that correctly) First, she took down my boy Mark Gastineau in his prime, ruining the Sack Exchange and now the great Flavor Flav. Who's next? Will Ferrell?

Much like Picasso after relocating to Paris from Barcelona had his "Blue Period", UB (lame duck Piss Boy and hero to all) again signals his entry to his "Survey Period". I can wait for something to piss you off so you will go on a real rant. Or, for little Andrew to do something so cute you cant help but gush about it here.

I read an article in Rolling Stone some years ago where they were interviewing Radio Head. I always got a laugh about their guitar player, apparently he hated their song "Creep" right off the bat and that's why he made that rather jarring guitar part in there.

I-pod, dude! I-pod! You can load all your MP3s and even plug the little joker into a stero system.

I knew it. 5 hours later and my office mate's radio starts to play "Hotel Califoria" and sure as shit, what's the first thing I think of? UB blowing his wad.

I'm sending you the therapy bills.

Break Your Heart is an amazing song; the live version Rock Spectacle is the best I think. And weren't you the one recommending Jesus of Suburbia to everyone? I've hated Green Day forever but I love the whole American Idiot album.

have you heard the version sung to the tune of gilligan's island?!

Hey Uncle Bob, if you like "Greatest Mistake," I think you'd really like Jamie Cullum's album "Twenty Something." He duets with John Hall on "Greatest Mistake" and his album is pretty awesome. You should check it out - I wouldn't steer you wrong!
