Keeping you and the family in my thoughts...Be as safe as you can.

Tenshi - 2005-07-10 09:55:11
Well, hurry up and cook them. Jeez.

Stevie - 2005-07-10 11:50:11
Buy some dry ice (if there's any left in town), put it in with the ribs, and don't open the freezer door while the power is out. Good luck.

Blue Meany - 2005-07-10 12:01:12
Um ... ribs are bad for you anyway. Or something. I'm sorry, that just sucks. Nothing I can think of can justify the loss of even one good rack of ribs.

tracy - 2005-07-10 13:15:51
I am going through the same sort of thing, Bob. Although I haven't lost electricity, or huge amounts of food, it's raining farm animals here. I'm in St. Pete, Florida. A couple of weeks ago I was in Miami.....thank God, I'm here now as Miami is going under, according to my friends that live there. Take care....tracy

Can't eat four rack of ribs? What's wrong with you? I, a little woman, could eat at least two them, no problem! Wishing you good luck!
-------------------------------
Londoner - 2005-07-10 14:49:41
Wow, you're going to lose your ribs? God, I'm glad that didn't happen right after a major city bombing. You might be accused of a lack of persepctive.
-------------------------------
perspective? - 2005-07-10 16:32:36
Oh right, Londoner, you're caught up in it because it's right around you. UB is caught up in a storm cause it's around him. And how many bombings has the US had that you all didn't care about? So who doesn't have perspective?
-------------------------------
Fuzzy Grey - 2005-07-10 19:33:35
Yeah!!! What "perspective?" said!!! And, BOB, don't forget to put tape on your windows!! That REALLY scares off the hurricane.

Fluffy Nougat - 2005-07-10 20:29:37
Good luck! We lost power for 4 days during Isabel a couple of years ago. No fun at all. Luckily, I was pregnant at the time and had no problem eating all of the food in the freezer/fridge before it went bad!

danelle - 2005-07-10 22:30:14
Let's give Suze and Andrew some Benadryl and cook up those ribs. I'll bring the beer. Hope your family is safe and well, don't panic, it's only nature.

vitamin c - 2005-07-10 23:05:23
Stay safe Ub!!!

onyx - 2005-07-11 02:31:47
Stay safe and get a portable dvd player that runs on batteries. BTW, I would almost put up with your weather to get out of this 110+ degree weather in AZ.
-------------------------------
Andy - 2005-07-11 09:00:14
Buy a generator.
-------------------------------
Lindsay - 2005-07-11 09:24:02
I hope everything stays well with you and yours during and after the storm. When hurricane Juan hit (Nova Scotia) almost 2 years ago my family was without power from Sunday until Thursday evening. It was horrible. I never want to experience anything like that storm again in my life. It was terrifying. Good luck UB!

The Boy - 2005-07-11 10:19:25
South Alabama is tough as nails... so here's a SIXTEENTH!! for all of them. Ivan was worse than Dennis, lets hope that once the wind stopped that UB was kind enough to fire up the grill and have a mini-block party to share the ribs' goodness, and that a neighbor has a generator for Andy's DVD watching. what's left of Dennis is hitting us here now, so I bet UB is back to carting piss around with sticky BBQ fingers.

If they have no power, how did UB post? Oh and BTW, I'm glad I live in Northern California, we only have tiny tornados and the occasional earthquake.

Didn't you get a DVD player for the car? You & Andrew can sit out in the driveway and watch Thomas the Tank Engine videos together. Great bonding experience.

vitamin c - 2005-07-11 16:45:01
The Boy~ I LOVVVVE how you torment the people who hate yelling out what number we are! Thanks. BTW, TWENTY ONE, BISHES!!!!!!!!! What if we never hear from UB again? What if he was washed out to sea? What if he is clinging on a tree somewhere? Could we post a gross ass picture of him just like his great tsunami controversy?
-------------------------------
Chris - The Original Chris - 2005-07-11 17:05:24
Quick! Someone go back to the black crowes pix of UB and photoshop him onto a body! (:
-------------------------------
The Boy - 2005-07-11 17:07:14
Vit. C.... anytime....If we don't hear from him in 3 days, I'm taking the day off and driving down there to go find him.... there are tuxedos to rent and posts to make, and no natural disaster is going to change that!!

That story is crazy (that Chris posted). Hopefully that won't happen to UB bcuz I don't think he spent most of his life in prision. :) I wonder if UB and his family are ok...

I like Stevie's sugestion for the ribs, I have a small twist on the idea... get the dry ice, but pack them in dry ice and mail to me in Texas, we'll take reeeeeeeeeeeeeel good care of em !!!!! You'll be too busy to BBQ anyway and statistically Texas is way overdue for a major hurricane anyway.... When it's our turn, we'll send you the goodies :)

I got measured for a tux yesterday in a certain city down South and the "gentleman" who sized me up seemed a bit put off by it all and rather uncomfortable. Got me to thinking if maybe I had stumbled into the Bob's place of employment. Then I asked the guy if they had a restroom and he showed me where it was and the door didn't stick and lock me in, just like Uncle Bob said! Eerie.

Being annoyed at anything in UB's comments section is about as asinine as going to church and saying you are annoyed when you hear someone say AMEN! Godspeed UB.

Squeakzilla - 2005-10-19 10:12:52
I'm not a fag and I wonder why the hell you chose to use a punctuation mark as your name and why THAT particular punctuation mark? If I was a fag, I wouldn't boink you while you were on your ".". Dairylands' comments section refresh is known to suck. I imagine that you, homeophobic "." do likewise.
