Telemarketing is one of the worst, most degrading jobs there is. But if you were training new people, well, that's different. Uncle Bob the Drill Sergeant. *grin*

Hey good for you UB! My husband has the MD and it's always good to see people willing to help the cause. Too bad the help comes at the cost of telemarketing. Hope things get better!

i, personally, love training people. especially if it means i don't have to do the job myself anymore. look at it as a captive audience. they have to listen to my lame stand-up comedy routine or go find another crummy job. hehe. i notice your comments thingy is not registering the number of comments you have on the main page. hmm. seems to be a lot of that going around.

That is too funny.. a temp job telemarketing and she (gasp) offered you PART time work. Should you of kissed her feet? LOL I hope the DJ job pans out perfect. I was laughing at the scam part of your job. I thought that was a compliment in a telemarketers world, you mean they have morals?

Holy Crap, UB, Are you re-living my DJ life about 5-6 yrs ago? I was doing the same damn thing waiting around for a guy who had installed a bunch of equipment in a bunch of local clubs to line me up with the DJ jobs in them. It kind of did and didn't pan out. I wish ya the best of luck.
